INTERNSHIPS

Internships are an important step
in preparing for workforce entry.

Benefits include: A foot in the door with a potential employer; looks good on a resume; opportunity to "test drive" a career; chance to network, establishing of relationships with mentors; possible college credit or certification; introduction to the field's culture and etiquette; acquiring new skills; getting a real world perspective on an occupation.

  • SUISUN WILDLIFE CENTER - Internships can be part or full time, preferably 40 hours a week, April-August. The Suisun Wildlife Center has an intern’s residence with kitchen/bathroom, all utilities paid.

  • THE LEAVEN - Ages 16+
    $10/hour; generally operate after school, Monday-Thursday from 3:30 to 4:30pm and during summer.
